A common fungus found under tea trees Variable in colour, young fruiting bodies can appear very green. It normally has a glutinous deep metallic blue cap with a brown centre and a viscid metallic blue stalk in wet conditions.
Notes: Clamp connections on all tissue, No cystidia. KOH on the cap and stipe produced a pinkish reaction.
